Kind staff and very clean room. Breakfast was OK, and the room was quiet during the night until people woke up. The fact that the hotel has a restaurant and a cafe is a huge plus. I can recommend it.

The host was super nice and always helped us, when we had a question/problem. It's a 10min walk into the old city and quite quiet at the location. The host family lives right above, but with separate entries.
Ptuj is a lovely historic town. There are thermal pools which are a little dated but still very pleasant. The best experience was the visit to the castle. After you buy your ticket you can visit an exhbition about local carnival tradition (Kurenti) and an exhibition showing the production of cotton, silk, linen and wool. Then you can go to the castle which has three floors. You can explore various exhibitions on your own, there are paintings, weapons, furniture, and a lot more. We especially liked the mix of modern "paintings" and the old ones.

Very nice old town with a pleasant town centre.
Very nice old town with a pleasant town centre. Easily walkable and nice pedestrianised areas. Quite a few sights to see, easily visitable in one or two days. Good choice of restaurants with lovely local food.
We didn't do any cycling but it looks like a great place and area for cycling. The river and local area are interesting for birdwatching. Apparently in the winter the river is a good place for seeing large numbers of wildfowl.

Ptuj (especially city center) is nice, cozy (the oldest in Slovenia) town with rich history to tell, some really interesting bars and all that is reachable on foot.
If you like beer, go to Bodi bar, if you like more "indie" scene go to Muzikakafe bar.

Small city, very nice, can see in a day or two.
Small city, very nice, can see in a day or two. Outdoor cinema at local theater was great. Castle is cool. Terme Ptuj (waterpark) only fair. There is a free bus that can get you from the bus station (across street from train station) to center of city, and to Terme. We walked, but it was a bit warm and we had luggage, so knowing about bus in advance would have been good. Hotel staff had no clue.

Cute little town full of history and character.
Cute little town full of history and character. Visited during kurentovanje and was completely impressed at the joy the local people expressed towards one another and visitors. Felt genuinely embraced by the whole community and got a good sense of who Slovenian people truly are.
Spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The main bathroom was especially attractive, with a huge tub. Parking was ample, and the host was extremely amicable, even bringing us "krofi" (donuts) one night. The location is an easy (<10 minute walk) to Ptuj, across a pedestrian bridge, which avoids the hassles of driving and parking in the old town. It's also conveniently near to a grocery store and nice restaurant (Pomaranča). The view out the bedroom towards the Ptuj 'Grad' (castle) was gorgeous!
One of the best values in three months of travel. The bed and bedding were perfect and the balcony offered nice views of Ptuj. The staff was very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with ( even with our English/German language mutle). The absolute highlight was their restaurant. We enjoyed one of the best seven course meals that had our palates dancing. Together with superior local wines, it was a meal we will never forget and will bring us back!
The staff was very friendly, location is amazing (just about 10-15 minutes walking distance to the castle). There's a free private parking in the backyard, staff will kindly provide the instructions how to get there. Hotel also provided two free bottles of water in our room. Breakfast might not seem too diverse at first, but it was more than enough for us. The room was small, but it had enough of storage places.
MuziKafe is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at. The design in the room, the cafe and the courtyard/garden is exceptionally beautiful. The atmosphere is so relaxed. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. And also the breakfast was really nice.
The apartment is walking distance to Ptuj, which is definitely a city we would recommend to visit. The terrace is at the back of the house and looks out on the garden. We enjoyed our meals there. The room has a double bed and a sofa. The kitchen is well equipped. The hostess was very friendly.
The property is well kept and very clean. The rooms are small but well maintained and up-to-date. The breakfast buffet was on par with other European hotels at which I've stayed. The location is excellent if arriving by bus or train and is close to everything there is to see in Ptuj.
The owner made sure we had everything during our 3-night stay, which we appreciated. Beds are very comfortable and the possibility of doing laundry is a huge bonus. It is located in the city centre, yet on a quiet street. Ptuj itself is wonderful.
The whole place is amazing with unique atmosphere. Room was so clean and quiet with big and comfy bed. Host is so kind and helpful. Great breakfast, big parking. Additionally - Ptuj is very beautiful. Recommend this hotel in 100%!!!!!
Fantastic place to stay in the heart of Ptuj. Our large room was beautifully decorated and well-appointed. Hosts were lovely. Couldn’t have asked for better. Breakfast here (extra charge) was a real treat.
Very good location in the center of Ptuj. Looking new, cute and clean, with a randomly placed shower in the middle of the room :) dogs are accepted, albeit for an expensive fee of 10€.
Perfect location for exploring Ptuj on foot (easy walk down the hill into town). Beautiful views from the spacious grounds. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host. Great breakfast.
nice hotel, good family room with large & comfortable folding bed for kids. the location is ok, within a 10 minute walk to the city center. the breakfast was ok
A very nice old building, good breakfast. Great location, right by the city center. Friendly host who gave us a lot of information about the property and Ptuj.
