A beautiful town, possibly the cleanest town I have ever visited! Lots of lovely furniture shops in the town to stroll around, lovely cafes (and hairdressers!). We went to Harrys Bar to watch a Rugby game and from the minute we walked in the door we got a lovely welcome by the staff. We were seated in the restaurant at the back of the bar and had absolutely gorgeous food and then moved to the bar for the game and some live music later! Every person we met was warm and welcoming and we strolled back to our hotel full and happy! Will definitely visit again!Guest review byGemserIreland - Review score10.0

The Bannside Riverside Walk and Solitude Park are not to be missed if in the area. My ancestors lived and worked in the area and I was able readily access the relevant historic churches, graveyards etc with no time constraints. Beautiful town and surrounding areas that make you realise it was other things that meant the people left.
